WORKING WITH KIDS
Working with children ages 5 and up in Philadelphia
I have had the opportunity to work with children of different ages through different programs such as Philadelphia Parks and Recreation and The Free Library of Philadelphia. My work with children has included developing and facilitating STEAM related activities, creating lesson plans and teaching art classes, as well as mentoring and assisting in homework.
My goal while working with kids has been to use fun activities and experiments to encourage learning, curiosity and creativity, to improve literacy, and to overall help them build their confidence as they discover their identities.
