Studying candle wax to find meaning in its various qualities

Candle wax contains many interesting qualities; it is a subtle yet strong and graceful material. My collection is made of a variety of candles at different stages of their lives. It includes images of brand new candles, candles in use, candles right after being used and old used candles. These images show ranging qualities of candle wax but overall, the aim of this collection is to expose the vulnerable and fragile, yet strong and composed quality it possesses.
The collection as a whole is called “Vulnerable Composure” and it is made up of four groups; Creamy Solids, Modest Noise, Peaceful Depth and Tampered Peace.
