The waiter’s corkscrew redesigned

With all the different wine bottle openers used today, it is still hard to find one that is comfortable to use yet easy to carry around. My aim was to create a corkscrew that could be as compact as the waiter’s corkscrew yet sleek and comfortable to use.
After some market research on existing corkscrews, sketches and foam models, I designed Cork Shark.
Cork Shark’s full body and smooth surface makes it a more comfortable and portable corkscrew. Its lever includes a foil cutter on one side and a tab on its spiral makes it easy to pull out from the main body. Cork Shark makes opening wine bottles a smoother experience.
